3M Scotchlite Changeable Graphic Film 5100 and 5100 (ES) are intended for making changeable exterior graphics, such as short-term bus graphics and commercial vehicle or fleet graphics. The films have a durable, flexible, retro-reflective construction that provides superior angularity. They have a wide application/removal temperature range, and they offer excellent hiding power. The films also offer similar day and night visibility, and they retain 90 percent of their retro-reflectivity even when totally wet.

Film 5100 (suitable for ink jet or screen printing) and film 5100 (ES) (suitable for electrostatic image transfer) feature a changeable adhesive that permits easy removal within 18 months, without heat or accessories, and with little or no adhesive residue. Warranted durability is 18 months, although actual performance depends on substrate selection and preparation, exposure conditions, the correct combination of film/ink or toner/overlaminate or overprint clear, and application/cleaning/maintenance methods.
